I think Aetna is great insurance. I have recommended it to many people/families that have already joined. I dont think it is a good idea to get insurance through a website. I have been 3 benefit/plan documents and all three say that I am covered for maternity. BUT when i called yesterday Aetna said that I am not. These things need to be thoroughly examined. It makes people like me want to switch insurance companies.

TN PPO 2500
The TN PPO 2500 is a good plan if you go to the doctor alot. Aetna provides me an explanation of benefits. Everything is very detailed and clear. They bill me each month. I wanted a plan with a low premium and with alot of coverage to fit my needs.

THE BEST EVER!
I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY NEW POLICY! IT WAS THE EASIEST TIME I EVER HAD GETTING HEALTH INSURANCE... I AM SO PLEASED.

The worse company ever
I was unsatisfied with my covereage. For starters, they had me selected as a male when they quoted me (I wasn't aware of this when I made my first dr, appt). After I went to the Dr I found out that they didn't pay for my appt, so I called them and they said in order to make me a female my monthly rate would go up about $20. I was fine with that, I just wanted something covered.. after all, I had already paid this for this un-service for two months. After about 2 weeks I get a few bills in the mail from the lab and the Dr letting me know my insurance hardly covered half. The main reason I got this plan was because it told me my lady dr. appt's were free from the get-go. (this was if i was a male of course). Needless to say I will never go back and i will exhaust all efforts to make sure anybody I know never uses them. This situation had me streesed to tears and this was around the holidays only making matters worse!

Good Plan
The plan choices are good (above average) but I would like to see lower premiums with less deductibles. Overall though the plans offered are good.
