Great Plan
This plan is very similar to my old company paid group plan. I'm very happy with the service I receive when I do call Aetna direct. I would recommend this plan to anyone.

Too costly
The cost of this plan is way too high. The benefits are just okay.

unfair
monthly rate was raised without notice due to a medication that I have not taken for over a year. Since my current doctor never prescribed it she cannot write a letter stating I have not been on it for a year. Therefore, my monthly premium remains higher.

Aetna Refused
Aetna asked if I had health insurance prior to a given date. I sent the form back and outlined the dates I was previously covered by Blue Cross. Now, they have refused to pay for services because they say I did not respond to their inquiry. They have consistently listed me as a marijuana user and I have no idea where that came from. The only thing I can relate to that area is their question about tobacco smoking.Very confusing and disheartening.

Aetna Health Insurance
My husband and I recently got married and were looking for a simple health insurance that would cover regular doctor visits, as well as prescriptions. We also wanted something that would help if for some reason one of us were to be hospitalized. Being newlyweds and college students, we could not afford an expensive health insurance plan.
When we came across Aetna, we knew it was the perfect health insurance for us! It is flexible to change when the time comes for us to start a family and need to add maternity to our plan. In addition, we have been very please with the benefit coverage when my husband has recently had various minor surgeries. For the amount we pay per month for the coverage, we are very happy with the benefits we are receiving. We would and have recommended Aetna to friends and family!

Out of pocket coverage
Prescription coverage is the worse I've ever experienced. Having to pay in most cases full price for prescriptions is very costly. I understand that once the deduction is made then the price will decrease, however, the deduction amount is to high.

scammers
Bait and switch. Would NOT cover the doctors prescription. Aetna stated I didn't really need WHAT DOCTOR HAD PRESCRIBED AND WOULD NOT PAY.
STAY AWAY.

What is covered?
Honestly the worst plan I have ever had, no doctors are covered and scripts may as well not be covered. I feel like nothing is covered.
