The truth about this plan 

I don't mind paying the low monthly premium or the high deductible. I want to make sure I have coverage if I'm in an accident or need to be hospitalized. BUT, when I received my policy from the company, it listed what areas are and are not covered. I read the policy thoroughly. When my doctor ordered a dye test on my kidneys, I called Aetna to make sure the test would be covered. Nope! Then why does the policy say it is covered? I think you were sent the wrong policy. Hmmm...so the company sends a new copy and it's the exact same as the one I had before. Basically, if you need know something is wrong, but you aren't sure and need diagnostic testing, which can cost thousands of dollars, you will be paying all of these expenses out of your pocket. Plus, you'll pay a $3000 deductible before the insurance begins to cover any hospital care or preventative care.
