COBRA provides a 60 day window from the day you were given notice that you were COBRA eligible for you to accept, reject, or change your mind about COBRA coverage. As long as you are within the 60 day window, you can inform your employer that you have changed your mind and that you want COBRA continuation coverage. If you originally rejected COBRA, your coverage will begin from the day you inform your employer.
