We do that by building strong partnerships with the hospitals and healthcare professionals in your community who share our commitment to delivering high quality, affordable healthcare.
We also do that by taking good care of you, as we've done for others for nearly 80 years. We're here to help if you're ready to stop smoking, shed extra pounds, or find low-cost coverage for your children. We have programs to keep kids fit, seniors healthy, and pregnant moms at their best. You'll find a real, live person on the other end of the phone, nurses to help you face healthcare challenges, and customer service representatives who demonstrate that helping you is our greatest reward.

Healthcare Quality:
> In 2010 the Portland Business Journal named PacificSource named the second healthiest Oregon employer with 500 to 1,499 employees. Many of wellness and health management programs available to our employees are also offered to our members.
Community Involvement:
> The Portland Business Journal ranked PacificSource 12th on its Top Corporate Philanthropists list for donating more than $1,248,400 to nonprofit organizations in 2009. The 11 companies ranked higher than PacificSource all had more than 1,800 employees, while we had 354 employees at the time.
> In 2007 PacificSource received the Emerald Award for Community Caring for contributions to the Eugene-Springfield, Oregon community's vitality and quality of life. The honor was based on our charitable foundation's work, the involvement of our employees in charitable initiatives, and our community giving program.
Leadership:
> In 2010 the Portland Business Journal named PacificSource President and CEO Ken Provencher its healthcare CEO of the year based on company performance, management style, innovation, and community involvement.
> In 2010 Blue Chip Magazine honored PacificSource Vice President of Finance and Controller Kari Patterson with its 20 Under 40 Award. This award was based on Kari's high level of career achievement, commitment to her company and her community, and leadership potential.
> In 2007 PacificSource President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Provencher received the Alton F. Baker Award from United Way of Lane County. The annual award is presented to one individual who demonstrates outstanding humanitarianism in the community, and Ken was recognized for his pivotal role in helping increase access to healthcare through the 100% Access to Healthcare initiative.
