SummaCare Overview
SummaCare is a health plan based in Akron, Ohio. We service members in an 18 county service area in northeastern Ohio through our network of over 6,000 providers and 50 hospitals. We also have affiliations with other national provider networks to cover out-of-state members. SummaCare currently offers health plans available to:

Through our fully-licensed third party administrator, Apex Benefits Services, we also offer a full line of self-funded products and services.
